Near Peebles, this road passes Morning Hill on the left, Tweed River on the right and Manor water straight ahead in the direction of Trahenna Hill. Cademuir Plantation of the Forestry Commission is close-by, where you can have a lovely walk: there is a nice route through the Plantation. Ancient settlements, forts, homesteads and cultivation terraces show the long history of this area.
