Close to Morning Hill, you can take a different turn, towards Peebles. There are a couple of view-spots, made for visitors, where you can take a breather. This one gives you a perfect view down, on Peebles, with behind the town: Ven Law, with the Glentress Forest. The viewpoint is at Manor Sware.
